Members recycle used stamps for charity

A little while ago, an appeal for used stamps appeared in the WI Newsletter.

Members were asked to collect these for Leukaemia CARE, a national blood cancer support charity. Leukaemia CARE is dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support.

Since then several our members have been saving their used stamps… and this is the result!

Donated stamps: British (left), Foreign (right)

Stamps need to be separated into British/Foreign and cut out leaving about a 1cm of paper all the way round. These are then sent off in a pre-paid envelope. It’s as easy as that!

All the stamps in the photos have already been sent off… so it’s time to start collecting again!
